On the afternoon of Friday, June 22nd I'll be travelling for many hours, and through Toronto Friday rush hour traffic (for those who know it, it's a Herculian feat), in order to attend a steampunk street fair!
Steam on Queen is the creation of Adam Smith of Canadian Steam Productions. It has been in the works for over a year and promises to be an outstanding event. Not only that, but as well... it's FREE!
Held on the grounds, as well as in many of the beautiful indoor areas, of historic Campbell House on Queen Street in Toronto, Steam on Queen will play host to an amazing array of entertainments and spectacles. There will also be a huge number of merchants to entice you with their delightful wares.
As well, bring your art supplies and join in the special edition of Steampunk Lifedrawing: Pride, Prejudice and Zombies Edition.
Help The Lost Ladies as they search for the perfect cup of tea.
I will be wandering the grounds and greeting people. If you come and say hello, and ask me nicely, I may even have a little something for you. Do come and join me. We'll have a lovely time!
