Posted by Lee Ann Farruga on November 19, 2011 at 7:20 AM

Marc Adornato is a multi media contemporary artist. His work combines sculpture, video, performance, light, and sound with a social reflection of pop-culture and current affairs. He often repurposes pieces that would otherwise be disposed into his creations.

His art has been in the Canadian War Museum, the Bank Of Canada's Currency Museum, and Canada's National Art Gallery (2011) among many others.

Marc is a very down to earth, honest and lovely gentleman. We are incredibly honoured to have him as a member of Steampunk Canada.  You can easily find him as his profile name is simply ADORNATO.  You can find a number of his amazing creations in his photo album .

Marc will have a steampunk style piece of art in the Gallery 101 Xmas show on Saturday December 3rd at 301 1/2 Bank Street - Unit 1, Ottawa. He will also have a piece in the Fringe Festival Xmas show on Friday December 2nd, Arts Court Building, 2 Daly Ave, Ottawa. A huge solo show is also coming up at the Shanghi Restaurant in June 2012.

You can find out more about his upcoming shows HERE  Trust me, don't miss seeing his art in person.  It's fantastic!
