New Canadian Steampunk Event

Steampunk Canada is proud to announce the creation of a brand new Canadian steampunk event!!

The Jules Verne Phantastical Society has partnered with the Sherbrooke Village museum of Nova Scotia to present a weekend of exploring Steampunk with workshops, entertainment, a Victorian Tea, a fashion show with prizes, and even dinner - Time Travellers' Reunion!

What a perfectly authentic setting to open the "Steampunk season" and to catch up with fellow enthusiasts. Explore histories that almost were, in fine and social company! While at the Village take a self-guided tour and discover the working blacksmith, wood turner, potter, printer, Jail and wood stove cookery, and the ambrotype period photography. Relax, enjoy yourself with some good company, great MUSIC, discover SCIENCE FICTION and HISTORIC FACT, and take in the location. Dress up a little, or dress up a lot... it is YOUR adventure!

This event runs June 15 and 16, 2013.  A perfect time for a lovely east coast vacation.
