Essentially started as a way to display my growing collection of watches this project has been fun. Although its far from finished I figured I'd start a bit of a build journal. This far I've roughly shaped the base, rough mounted the copper and the plasma ball. I've done a single coat of stain, several more to follow as well as a clear coat.

I need much smaller hooks for the watches and I need to drill several more holes to hang watches from.

Once the copper is all soldered and polished I'll seal it and stain and seal the base at the same time. I need to find a trim ring for the base of the plasma ball. and of course it needs a brass name plate.

Very nice! I assume that this Crhonoscope has a backstory and usage?
