Hello, lovely Hamilton people! I have finally arrived in this lovely city with precious little to do besides buy furniture and wait for school to start. In the meantime, I have realized there are several trails all over to wander about in!

So, that said, do any of you here enjoy exploring the wilderness? Want to see if we can find some ruins / artifacts / areas of potential steampunky interests? If you hate the wilderness, perhaps a stroll around the city to find shops of interest / art supply stores / second-hand junk?

Do let me know if anyone is interested in wandering!

The Museum of Steam and Technology is a lovely afternoon's outing. The Hermitage in Dundas is a ruin of interest. Dundurn Castle is interesting as is the Graveyard across the street.

Yes, but it's not so fun alone, you know?

Well if anyone is looking to have an adventure. I would be up for meeting new steamy friends! I'd love to visit Dundurn castle and goto Spencers Merchantille!

Seeing as we were supposed to have the Steamposium next weekend, I concur that Dundurn Castle, or at least meeting at the Staircase Cafe, would be fun!

Shall we say, the 16th, lunch at Staircase Cafe or someplace similar? Then we could move on from there to Dundurn Castle.

Sounds good to me. I think for whomever wants to join or can make it for saturday so we can at least meet some of the other people around Hamilton.

So whomever would like to come, meet, etc. Please message me!

Please do feel free to drop by if you have time on your explorations -- we'd love to see you! Some of our stock is still on its way back from a series of events in the States, but we do have quite a bit in the store as it is and it would be delightful to to meet you!  We're at 233 Locke Street South, and we're open 10 - 5 (and earlier and later by appointment). :)
