Less a matter of direct correction, I think, than a matter of fore-warning regarding that particular sewing pattern.  No fun spending money on a sewing pattern only to discover that it does not build what you think it builds, after all.

I have still not found anything resembling a free pattern for the "garter belt" holster [which does not look to me as though it would work at all as a garter belt, for that matter, but that is beside the point], but these may be of use in the making of it despite that, as they look at the leather-working of general holster-building:

Now this is super helpful, thanks and don't worry about the garder belt part.  I'm a hard core tr fan an cosplayer I got the classic gun holsters unfortunatly are in need of a little repair.  Your links are getting me the ideas I need to repair them.  And I had struck luck today last week I saw the perfect fabric for the top, and it was still there when I came there this week again it was $8.00 strangely it looks to be more than 1.98 meters long.  As I may need by the way the fabric is to wear an other top just to be safe perhaps. http://i286.photobucket.com/albums/ll100/MH_RelicRaider/Progress%20pics/DSC05511.jpg

I've made it a bit big but I plan to gather the fabric at the back with ribbon in a corset style lacing, I'm using this as a test before I make a commision for my best friend, which I might do that to her's if she likes my idea.

ok I have an update I found a vest on ebay and some clothing I can alter at salvation army/ value village , I'm on a bit of a bugget since money is kinda tight but they were an awesome find so far

Looking pretty cool so far! I'm half inspired to mak a Tomb Hunter cosplay- Steampunking Relic Hunter in response.

Though that should be easy considering the amount of leather Miss Sydney Fox wears. The collapsible crossbow would be the hard part. and maintaining the wig- the long dark brown hair that is usually left loose means higher maintenence than Lara's braid.

I don't plan on getting a wig I've been growing my hair for 2 years now
