Hello clever people,

My son - age 10 - wants to be Dr. Emmett Brown from "Back to the Future" for Halloween. Doc Brown wears 'steampunk goggles' (or old school welding goggles). Do you have any ideas for how I can get a pair...in a week?

Thanks,

Heidi

They are currently all over the place in various Halloween stores.  Go in and ask for "steampunk" costume pieces.  If that doesn't work, try army surplus stores.  Good luck!

Heidi you can also try Princess Auto (depending on where you are that is) - they are online and you can find a number of goggle styles in their welding safety section: http://www.princessauto.com/power-transmission/welding/welding/welding-safety/list-all

Everything is pretty reasonably priced as well.
