About Me

I am originally from Kansas, but have lived in Portland, OR, for the past 35 years.  During the 1960's I was trained as a Chinese linguist and flew spy missions with the US Air Force off the coast of China and combat missions in Vietnam.  After my enlistment, I attended California State University at Northridge as an art major, and then taught art in the L.A. city schools for several years before moving on to work as an investigator and examiner in the Insurance industry.  I am now retired.

During  the past 15 years I have developed an interest in video film making, and have produced two Steampunk videos (please see below).  Additionally, I produced a documentary about my time in the service, titled "Flying in the Shadow War," which has been accepted into the Library of Congress.  Other videos include a documentary on one person's experience in the Peace Corps, and several music videos.
