About Me
I'm new to Steampunk and I've been a fan of Jules Verne style si-fi all my life.I enjoy computer construction and modification, bonsai, and generally building things. Steampunk is a new and interesting outlet. Post a CommentOops! The words you entered did not match the given text. Please try again. 10 Comments
You could try to use a product available at Home Hardware called contact cement thinner but once it is dry the thinner may not dissolve the cement. Good Luck.
i ended up using contact cement. it worked great but the piece i used was too big. now they look silly and i cant remove it.

Try J-B Weld it will glue metal to metal , so should work for you. Sand the area, if possible, first then when it's cured sand the excess away ( you can also use a nail file ) You can find it in the automotive section of and good hardware store or Canadian Tire. Good luck and let me known how it turns out.
im having a problem with adhesives. im trying to fasen metal to plastic (adding a scope to one of my goggle lenses) any suggestions?

Glad you enjoyed "The Resident Member"!
It's too bad the CBC isn't interested in this sort of thing, because it would be fun to produce some more. |
