About Me
I'm old enough to remember the steam trains running on the track across the field behind our garden, old enough to remember riding in the old compartmented carriages. I have a Singer treadle sewing machine in my living room that I wouldn't part with for the world. I grew up reading Popular Mechanics magazines and I'm fascinated by exploded diagrams. I own watchmaker's screwdrivers and used to take apart watches, enchanted by the delicate complexities within. I don't have a TV or a telephone. I love large hats and small embroidered boots... there is a magnet on my fridge with a picture of Victorian boots on it that I brought back from the Bata Shoe museum in Toronto. I'm creative, odd, and somewhat musical. I love repurposing. Post a CommentOops! The words you entered did not match the given text. Please try again. 4 Comments
I think the first thing I will do is get a copy of The Difference Engine. And maybe make an extravagant hat.
Welcome! Lovely to have you with us. All you have to do is have fun.
