About Me

Hi! I'm Erin Latimer, a steampunk/fantasy writer living in Grande Prairie, Alberta. I grew up in Victoria, British Columbia and my heart is still there (it's a very painful condition). I am freshly agented, and represented by Paradigm Talent Agency. Steampunk manuscript is currently in revisions mode.

I certainly DO hope to attend next year! I just got home a couple of hours ago and I'm pretty tired, but I had a blast! Met several contacts about Steampunk Gardening as well as other areas. Talked with Kaja Foglio ("Girl Genius) author) and others. Found out about an upcoming Steampunk weekend on Saltspring Island in July.

Good Evening, Erin! I am currently preparing things for the trip to Victoria in the morning. It is a terrible night here, with very high winds and some rain, but the sun is supposed to come out in the morning so it should be a nice trip down Island. I am becoming more and more excited about the Expo, especially since it is the first time ever that I have gone to an event in costume! I wish you could get there so that perhaps I could meet you face-to-face, but perhaps another time, eh?

Thanks so much, Erin! I can hardly wait to get there! It's only a 3-hour drive from here, but it always gets tiresome once you hit the Malahat!

Last night I bought the tickets for the Expo, and the other day I reserved the hotel room, so there's not much more to do but wait!

Good luck with the ComicCon in Calgary - my partner is from there and he says it's a fun city!

Dear Erin;
I note that you are from Victoria. I am new to the Steampunk world, and i plan to attend the upcoming Steam Expo there in a couple of weeks. Since I am from another community, while in Victoria I hope to make some appropriate purchases of clothing and decor. Can you suggest any stores that would be good places for me to visit?

Also, are any of your Steampunk works available as Ebooks (Ethereal books)?

All the best to you in your new home,
Ebenezer Didymus Hawkins (E. Diddy)
