Steampunk Canada

I'm an Ottawa native that has been interested in "alternative" fashion since high school (a good 30 years ago!).  I love reading, from historical fiction to science fiction and almost everything in between.  My musical choices are just as diverse!  I think cats rule, although I do allow birds, lizards, and fish to share the house.  Oh, and my husband too!    

My alter-ego is Ms Christaline, and I am a bold and daring adventurer who likes to search the world for fabled creatures, but so long as my back holds out!  My latest voyages have taken me to deepest, darkest Africa in the hopes of finding the elusive Monoceros (described to me as an overweight but fearsome equine sporting a single horn of solid brass!).
